A shocking final step by the President on farm bills, know here

In between all protests against Farm bills, President Ramnath Kovind took his final call in this matter. The opposition is not happy with the decision of these bills getting passed.

During this global Pandemic, many farmers are on roads with their tractors to show their disagreement with the 3 farm bills which were passed in Rajya Sabha with the help of voice Votes' last week. This protest was nothing small. Many celebrities with a big name like Sidhu Moosewala, Harbhajan Mann, Ranjit Bawa were recently involved in the protest held in various regions of Punjab. The opposition has also requested the President not to sign the bills but The President of India Mr. Ramnath Kovind signed the final call for making these bills a law on Sunday. Rashtrapati Bhawan informed the citizens regarding this act.

According to the government, these bills will replace the authoritative order issued by the government in June, which will help farmers to increase their income and this bill also free them from the involvement of the middlemen. Farmers are not supporting this bill due to their fear of getting exploited. They are afraid that they will not get the minimum support price which was fixed by the government. This bill is also getting renamed by the citizens as 'Anti Farmer Bill'. Many opposition leaders like the chief leader of Akali dal Sukhbir Badal showed his disappointment. According to his tweet, the hopes of returning bills to parliament were dashed.

We are very well aware that the former Farmer and Agriculture minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal was from the Akali Dal and resigned because of this bill. Punjab's CM Amrinder Singh referred to this action as disturbing and unfortunate. The incidents that happened after the bill got passed were very controversial which led to the suspension of some known leader from the parliament. The mass protest was held in various states like Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, and Punjab.
