e-Pharma portal Netmeds bought by Reliance

Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL) has bought majority shares in Netmeds.

Vitalik and its supportive units are collectively known as Netmeds. This deal has been done in direct exchange of currency. The RRVL is Asia's richest industry's part of Reliance Industries Limited.

As per the deal, Reliance Industries have bought 60% ownership of Vitalik Health Limited.

Director, Reliance Retail Ventures Limited, Isha Ambani congratulated and said “This investment matches our commitment to ensure digital access to all in India.”

She added this way Reliance will be able to approach the citizens to their doorstep and provide them health services, medicines and drugs with high quality service at an affordable price.

Netmeds is an online platform which sells medicines and healthcare to its clients by directly letting them to approach manufacturers.
