By S Sai Jagannath

In a recent tweet where MP Sashi Tharoor tweeted saying Sanju Samson would be the next MS Dhoni after his fantastic performance against Kings XI Punjab last night where Samson scored a magnificent 85 of 42 deliveries. He also smashed 72 against CSK in his first match drawing a lot of praise.

Replying to Sashi Tharoor's tweet, former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir who is also currently the MP of BJP from East Delhi replied “Sanju Samson doesn't need to be next anyone. He will be 'the' Sanju Samson of Indian cricket”

Earlier also Gambhir has made some big statements on Sanju Samson regarding his talent and his selection in the Indian team. A week ago he wrote, “Sanju Samson is not just the best wicketkeeper-batsman in India but the best young batsmen in India”(source: twitter) In his tweet he also challenged anyone who was up for debate about Samson's credibility.

Ever since the Legend MS Dhoni has retired from international cricket there have been debates going all around as to who will fill his shoes. Names like Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson are the only few that shine bright and are likely to get selected in the team. Keeping the T20 world cup in mind which will be taking place in October and November next year in India selectors will be looking for a solid wicketkeeper who can bat in the middle order as well. The performance of these two youngsters in the near future will surely decide as to who fits well in the team.
