India to urge 100 million doses for COVID19 virus from Russia

Russia’s wealth fund has agreed to provide 100 million doses of its COVID19 vaccine, Sputnik-V, to Dr Reddy’s laboratories, Indian pharmaceutical company said on Wednesday, as Moscow wants it to plan and distribute it abroad.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) agreed with Indian manufacturers to supply 300 million doses of the vaccine in India, as India may be a major consumer of Russian oil and arms. Dr Reddy is now on the third phase of a vaccine trial in India, approval is pending and it'll be done after completion of the trial. Delivery of vaccine will begin in late 2020 after registration by regulatory authorities in India.
Russia was the primary country to license a vaccine of the novel coronavirus. GV Prasad said ‘’the phase 1 and a couple of has shown promising results and Sputnik V will provide a reliable option in our fight against COVID19’’. Now there isn’t any detail regarding the worth of the vaccine. because the cases are very high the sole need may be a vaccine now. RDIF has already reached vaccine supply to some countries like Kazakhstan, Brazil, and Mexico. Sputnik V was launched in Russia on 26 August after the phase 3 trial of 40,000 people.
