Indian PeaceKeepers make the nation proud yet again
According to recent reports, the Indian peacekeepers made the group of 39 cadre of armed group to surrender in DR Congo. As per army, it also included Second in Command of Mai Mai Kitete prominent armed group in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Army also quoted “Protection of civilians is the key mandate of the mission”.
This indeed is a big victory of India and Indian Battalion to establish the peace in the region which wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the military personnel.
India stands as the Fifth contributor of uniformed personnel to UN Peacekeeping. This act of military simply represents our motto of peace and harmony in the entire world.
