An incident has taken place in the Dumka district of Jharkhand, where a teenage girl of about 12-years-old has been supposedly gang-raped and massacred. The police authority has been instructed by the CM of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren to take strict actions against the case.
An indigenous girl of 12-years-old who was an inhabitant of the Dumka district of Jharkhand has been gang-raped and killed on 16th of October, Friday. The occurrence came to light after the body of the sufferer was found dead near Chidi village in Ramgarh police station locality, behind a thicket. Considering the matter, the CM of Jharkhand, Hemant Soren asserted the authority to take strict actions against this incident. The girl who was gang-raped and killed was a student of 5th standard who left for her tuition lessons and never came back. The Superintendent of Police, Amber Lakra stated that based on the impression of the case, it appeared that the little girl was assaulted by a gang and then killed. The confirmation to this will be obtained only after the reports of autopsy comes out.
A Special Investigation Team has been created to survey the incident. The officers informed that the criminals will be held captivated soon enough. The CM, Hemant Soren supervised MV Rao, Director General of Police to take the necessary actions as soon as possible and keep him informed regarding this. He furthermore instructed the district government to penalize the criminals of such lawsuits through the Fast Track Courts. The occurrence has given birth to controversial politics in the Dumka assembly constituency poll-bound which has been relinquished by the chief minister who maintained his other seat on Barhait, as the antagonism BJP to criticise the government over the statute and crisis in the state. The elections in Dumka and Bermo seats in Jharkhand will take place on 3rd of November.
