After Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut's house was demolished on Wednesday, many celebrities have now started pouring in support for the actor.
Her Manikarnika co-actor, Ankita Lokhande, took to Instagram and posted a still of Ms. Ranaut from the film and called her a "braveheart". Renuka Shahane, who had previously also reacted to Ms. Ranaut's PoK-Mumbai comment, stood in favour of the actor and condemned the "revenge demolition". Other B-town actresses like Dia Mirza and Sonal Chauhan also expressed their criticism of the BMC's action.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena leader, Sanjay Raut, who was involved in a war of words with the Panga actor, has said that the party has nothing to do with the BMC's decision and said that Ms. Ranaut is "welcome to stay in Mumbai".
Ms. Ranaut's office and a major part of her house in the Pali hill area of Mumbai were demolished by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation earlier on Wednesday in the actor's absence. The civil body cited the renovation and extended construction work being illegal as the reason behind the demolition.
