The global star behind the success of Insidious franchise, Patrick Wilson, is making his directorial debut with the fifth movie of the Insidious franchise.
The fifth chapter of the Insidious franchise is on the way by the Blumhouse Productions with the global star Patrick Wilson. It is his directorial debut with the film. Wilson played the lead character of the haunted Josh Lambert of the supernatural horror series and will also star in the upcoming instalment of the series.
Scott Teems, according to the deadline has already written the script on a story by the co-creator of the franchise Leigh Whannel. The story opens a decade after the incidents of 2018's 'Insidious: The Last Key', with the son of Lambert, Dalton heading towards college. Wilson stated a beautiful statement regarding Insidious and shared it in his Twitter handle.
This 47-year-old actor behind the success of the Insidious franchise said coming on board as a director that it's a "full-circle" moment for him both personally and professionally. Co-created by Whannel and James Wan along with Jason Blum serving as producers in the upcoming chapter of the franchise, it fills up the viewers with a lot of enthusiasm.
The first chapter of 'Insidious' released in 2010 followed by 'Insidious: Chapter 2, in 2013, focuses on a young couple whose son gets possessed by the entities of another dimension. Chapter 3 comes out with the events before the original series in 2015. 'Insidious: The Last Key' released in 2018 is a follow up to the ground-breaker.
