Akshay Kumar's Lakshmi Bomb is there to release on 9th November on Disney+Hotstar. The strong character of Akshay Kumar when the spirit enters into his body is the backbone of the storyline.
The comedy-horror film directed by Raghava Lawrence is the Hindi remake of his Tamil film released in 2011, Muni 2: Kanchana. Akshay, the lead character of the film recently in a promotional interview revealed that the character Lakshmi is the most mentally intensive role he played in his career of 30 years. However, he manages to portray it well and even gives the credits to his director who is behind the character starting from how it moves to how it dances.
In the film, Akshay gets bedevilled by a spirit and the incidents and happenings after that forms the cornerstone of the film. Akshay adding on to his interview says, in his previous movies like Padman and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, he got to learn things that home never knew. Similarly, this movie taught him about the issues of acceptability in the case of transgenders. According to him, makers gave this movie gave complete justice wisely and sensitively.
