One of the most talented actors of Bollywood, Manoj Bajpayee opens up in an interview with ETimes about how he never watches his own films in cinema halls.
The great actor who has won everyone’s heart in several movies talks about #SupportsMovieTheaters which is now trending all over social media. E-Times questioned him about his views on reopening the movie theatres during this pandemic and he said that he hates to watch himself in the movie halls, around so many people. He thinks he is not very good, and that he is too critical of his own performance and perhaps everyone in the cinema hall thinks the same. The last film he saw was Satyameva Jayate because Milap Zaveri forced him to go with him, but he came out just a few minutes after watching it.
Manoj’s view on opening theatres is that he thinks it’s tricky, he says that in this pandemic even going grocery shopping is a challenge. Even if social distancing is followed and all the other protocols, some risk factors still carry. According to him, the best part of watching movies in a movie theatre is being a part of a very large crowd and enjoying the emotions altogether. He also adds that he misses his normal life like everyone, and misses going to work.
