Midseason transfer in IPL available for the first time! Know the list of players below.

For the first time in the Indian premier league, the mid-season transfer has been made available. The ongoing 13the edition of IPL which is currently played in UAE has just become more intriguing. For the first time in 13years, officials allowed the transfer window for midseason. This allows a player of one team to transfer into another team.

The certain rules and regulations of midseason transfer are as follows:

1. A midseason transfer is only available once all the teams have played 7 matches and can't be done before that.


2. There should be mutual consent between the two teams about the transfer of a player.

  • The decision should be made by the franchise of whom they want to keep or release. They can buy those players whom they haven't been able to buy in the auction.


3. The capped and uncapped players both are eligible for the transfer.

  • Last year the midseason window was opened but only for the uncapped players while this year it's also opened for capped players of both Indian and overseas.


4. Only 2 players from each team who haven't played more than 2 games are allowed for transfer.

  • Any player who has played more than 2 matches cannot be transferred or loaned.
