PM Narendra Modi addresses the gathering on school education under National Education Policy-2020

The Education Ministry is Conducting the two-day assembly, which started on Thursday, as a part of “Shiksha Parv”, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated. A gathering on ‘School Education in 21st Century’ under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 at 11 am on Friday, will be done by PM Modi through video conferencing.
The inaugural session has been conducted to address the ‘Assembly on Transformational Reforms in Higher Education under NEP-2020’ on August 7 to have a word with the ‘Governors Conference’ regarding the policy on September 7 by PM Narendra Modi.
The ‘Shiksha Parv’ is being celebrated within September 8-25 to felicitate teachers and take the New Education Policy (NEP) forward. Different webinars, virtual conferences and Assemblies on several aspects of the NEP are being Arranged across the country, the PMO stated.
The government said that the National Education Policy-2020 is the first education policy of the 21st century, which was announced after 34 years from the previous year NEP announced in 1986. The National Education Policy is directed towards major reforms for both at school and higher education level.
The new National Educational Policy (NEP) focuses on making the country filled with an equitable and vibrant knowledgeable society. It visualizes an India-centered education system that will contribute directly to transforming the country into a global superpower, the words by government.
