By S Sai Jagannath

Bollywood and cricket are two of the most popular and most celebrated industries in India. The addition of IPL has brought not only the whole nation together but even the celebrities promoting their regions and supporting their respective teams.

SRK known as the "King of Bollywood" who is also the owner of the team Kolkata Knight Riders franchise in IPL and Trinibago Knight Riders in the CPL was recently seen supporting KKR in Dubai. The King arrived a few weeks ago undergoing quarantine to watch the matches along with his family. During the KKR vs CSK match, SRK was seen supporting his franchise in an absolute thrill. KKR won the match by ten runs defeating the men in yellow quite comfortably.

Rahul Tripathi was the man of the match for his brilliant 81 in 51 deliveries which included 3 sixes and 8 fours. While he was handed over the man of the match award Harsha asked, "The smile doesn't go off your face with Sharukh blowing so many kisses" to which Rahul replied, "To play in front of SRK is like a dream coming true". After which Sharukh shouted one of his famous movie dialogues "Rahul Naam To Suna Hoga" referring to Rahul Tripathi who was receiving the MOM award.

Rahul Tripathi who has just played two games for the team till now has performed quite magnificently in both of them scoring a quickfire 36 against Delhi and a mature and steady knock against CSK. Due to Rahul's heroics, KKR posted a total of 167 to which the men in yellow fell short of 10 runs giving KKR 2 points which took them to 3rd position on the points table. The team is slowly getting in shape and looks to find it's rhythm for the second half of the tournament. With the inclusion of Rahul, the team looks much stronger now and looks to book a seat in the top 4.
