RCB's three-year-old revenge over this team, taken! Read to know more.

RCB have surely turned the tables this year with 5 wins in 7 games and last couple of them winning dominantly over KKR and CSK who are one of the toughest teams to beat. Earlier in the tournament, RCB also beat MI in a super over thriller and haven't halted ever since.
In their recent encounter with KKR in Sharjah, they defeated the two-time IPL winners by a margin of 82 runs. 82, aren't you guys able to find the connection? If not, let me take you down the lane. It was the year 2017 where RCB's performance in the tournament was way below standards and had won only 3 games out of the 14 matches they played. The tournament was a complete nightmare for the team and as well as the lovers. But what was more disastrous was Match No.26 where RCB played against KKR on a tricky Eden Garden track where the outsiders elected to bowl first defending KKR to only 131 runs. While the target looked small and chasable, fate had a different plan for the men in red. KKR was fired up and took quick wickets in quick sensation and in no matter of time, RCB was bowled out for a mere 49 runs. The lowest total scored by any team in the IPL ever. They were embarrassed and their reputation was wrecked.
Now again they met in 2020 at a very high scoring ground. The men in Red chose to bat first with a brilliant batting top order. They scored a mammoth 194 with the help of ABD, Kohli, Finch and Devdutt. ABD scored brilliant 73 of 33 deliveries of a very tricky wicket where others were unable to time the ball well. On any other day, with the kind of batting lineup KKR has, 195 was quite chasable on such a small ground. But RCB delivered a stunner with the help of their remarkable bowling lineup. They defended the fire packed lineup of KKR not only by a small margin but by a margin of 82 runs. And it seemed like they avenged their 2017 defeat in a very tremendous fashion.
With that win, RCB has now moved on to the top three with 5 wins in their account alongside DC and MI. RCB has a good and potential team this year and it won't be surprised if they lift their maiden IPL cup. But until then it was some real good cricket by Virat and co to settle the scores with KKR.
