Sonu Sood continues to be the ‘Hero’ of migrant workers, Launches ‘Pravasi Rojgar'
From arranging buses for the migrant workers stuck at Mumbai for sending them their home to providing food and essentials to them, Sonu Sood has really proved himself an angel in this hectic time. He did all this work without charging.
He has now launched an app that will help migrants to find jobs in various sectors of India. He has named this portal as ‘Pravasi Rojgar'. This app will basically help all the migrant workers to find an alternative job for them in order to earn the livelihood. About the app, he says that he has done a lot of planning and preparation into molding this initiative in the last few months.
He has also consulted with different NGOs, philanthropic organizations, government units, startups, etc in order to ensure the jobs for the youth of the country living below the poverty line.
As per an official announcement, this app/platform will have more than 500 companies that deal with healthcare, development, engineering, automobile, e-commerce websites, providing numerous job opportunities.
Helpline services have also been set up in the metro cities of Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.
Besides this, the actor has been also helping people who are fighting with the COVID-19, he donated 25,000 face shields to policemen in Maharashtra.
