In the Kanpur Dehat District of Uttar Pradesh, the decayed body of a teenage girl aged around 15 years was found in the maize field. As per the Police Reports, her body was partly eaten by the wild animals.

Another case has been added to the enormously increasing list of crimes against women. Today, a case has been reported about a teenage girl who went missing for about two weeks and was murdered in the Kanpur Dehat District of Uttar Pradesh. The girl was almost 15 years old and her body was found decayed in a maize field, half-eaten by the wild animals, as the Police statements stated. The Police suspects that the reason that led to the murder of the little girl is perhaps distribution of the property. A Police Officer also phrased that it appears that a “property dispute led to the killing”.

Keshav Kumar Choudhary, the Superintendent of Police of Kanpur Dehat District, Uttar Pradesh, has completely obviated the suspect of sexual abuse on the girl by stating that the girl was abducted by her uncles and was later murdered by them in a barbaric way. The Police also mentioned that a case had been lodged by the girl’s family a week ago. Few inhabitants located the decomposed body of the teenage girl at about 500 metres distance from her native village, Gaholia Rura on Saturday and thereafter, reported the Police about the body found. The Police asserted that they have arrested the two uncles of the departed teenage girl, who were under the radar of doubt for her murder. The accused, Brij Lal (aged 65) and Jiya Lal (aged 60) supposedly confessed about killing the little girl over disputes of a property. The deceased body of the girl has been sent for a necropsy to profess the exact causes of her death. Further, inspection is ongoing.
