The state takes the decision to not open Schools
The corona pandemic has affected the educational organizations a lot. They are shut since March when the news of corona came into existence in India. The states are planning to reopen educational organizations in September. But as the parents are expressing concern over the health and protection of children, it seems hard to open up the schools and colleges.
Amid the pandemic, the state of Karnataka has taken the decision of not opening the schools.
Another statement came from the Education Minister of Tamil Nadu, KA Sengottaiyan that after seeing the current state it is very hard to reopen the educational institutions.
He also added that once the COVID-19 conditions become normal, the schools/colleges will only open after the parents and students will provide consent.
The most hampering has taken account of the academics and education sector amidst corona.
The parents are demanding from the government that until the vaccine becomes available in the market, the schools and colleges shouldn’t open. The parents do not want to compromise students' health and life over education.
The government has also launched numerous online education portals to support online education.
Before this, the Home Ministry had already generalized the guidelines for Unlock-3 which say that the education hubs will remain closed till August 31st, due to Pandemic.
The dates shall be stretched forward as per the situation.
