PM Modi held 'Mann ki Baat' on 25 October 2020, and addressed the important things people should take care of in this festive season.
Prime minister Modi addressed the nation on the day of 'Dussehra' through his 'Mann ki Baat'. PM addressed and talked about many things in his 70th edition of this program. He greeted all citizens with the wishes of this auspicious day and mentioned the significance and importance of the day. He said that India will win this fight against corona. He requested all the citizens to light a Diya for the soldiers who are standing at the border and are unable to celebrate festivals with their family. He talked about some famous personalities who contributed a lot to this nation in one way or another.
He mentioned Sardar Vallabhai Patel and his devotion to maintaining the unity of the nation. He also paid a tribute to former Prime minister Indira Gandhi who lost her life on 31 October 1984. As the festival season is going on, he mentioned how we can promote 'vocal for local' and how we can contribute towards it. He said that when we will start to accept our goods it will attract attention from worldwide just like our 'yoga', 'Ayurveda' and some indigenous sports are making their space in the outside world. He also requested people to take proper regulations during this season.
