WhatsApp Creates a Record of Exchange of over 100 Billion Messages among people per Day!

According to a recent report, there are almost 100 billion messages exchanged around the world daily. The report suggests that WhatsApp has become the application, where the most number of messages are being exchanged among people.

According to the report, WhatsApp has achieved the milestone of exchanging over 100 Billion messages among people all around the world. Recently WhatsApp has been pushing regular and important updates to the users to fulfill their dream features that they have been wishing for. Before this year, they created a record of 2 Billion downloads all around the world from App Stores, by the end of this year, they have achieved a download of 5 Billion times from all around the world. Mark Zuckerburg, the CEO of Facebook, revealed that there have been 100 Billion messages exchanged among people all around the World.

There have been over 2 Billion monthly active users of WhatsApp all around the world. In the year 2015, they were about 900 Million users, and certainly, it increased to 1 Billion people in the year 2016. In the year 2017, the users increased to 1.5 Billion, and finally, in early 2020 WhatsApp achieved the milestone of 2 Billion active users. WhatsApp is one of the most popular and trusted applications among users all over the world with End to End Encryption feature, which means the privacy of the users is secured properly. With the trust and privacy of the users all over the world, WhatsApp is leading among all other Social media in terms of usage and privacy. Due to the ongoing pandemic of CoronaVirus, people have been preferring staying at home and using WhatsApp as a medium of chatting and contacting people.

100 billion messages per day are something that needs to be appreciated by WhatsApp as 100 Billion is a very big number. Usually, when there is a big event or festival like a night before New Year, WhatsApp used to cross the 100 Billion mark. Last year in 2019, WhatsApp achieved its first milestone of 100 Billion marks. It was 75 Billion in 2018 and 63 Billion in 2017. The CoronaVirus Pandemic has been one of the main reasons behind such a milestone of WhatsApp.
