Microsoft is all set to roll-out Windows 10 October 2020 Update for users. The update is going to fetch a vast range of new features, advancements, and interface modifications for Windows 10 users. Microsoft has released the final preview for the update.
Window Insiders can download the 20H2 update by visiting Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. Once the software is installed, Insiders will be eligible to get the new service updates through Windows Update. The October 2020 Update will also start the automatic roll out for Insiders in the Beta Channel.
The broad range of fresh features will comprise a revised Start Menu with a somewhat partly transparent background. Users will have the choice to select the accent colour for the Start frame as well as the taskbar, action centre, and Start buttons and the Start menu will also be able to automatically adjust to light and dark themes. The next highlight of the update is the Chromium-based Edge browser. Users can envisage more additional features in the Control Panel along with the updated Setting page.
Microsoft in a post said that they are releasing Build 19042.508 (KB4571756) to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel. They acknowledge that Build 19042.508 is the final build but they are still intending on proceeding to enhance the overall experience of the October 2020 Update on customers’ PCs as the basis of their normal servicing beat.
